Instarmac brings festive cheer to local food bank

Staffordshire based manufacturer, Instarmac Group plc, live by a simple philosophy ‘World Class Business. Local Support.’ As part of their commitment to giving back to their local community, Instarmac Group plc have donated 48 boxes of food, toiletries and other essentials to Tamworth Food Bank.

Tamworth Food Bank, part of The Trussell Trust, is one food bank in a nationwide network all working together to ‘provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty’. The Trussell Trust are passionate about campaigning for change to end the need for banks in the UK.

Each parcel provided by Tamworth Food Bank and The Trussell Trust contains a minimum of three days’ worth of nutritionally balanced food as well as personal hygiene items and toiletries. The coronavirus pandemic has had a catastrophic impact on millions of people, and with the financial impact of the pandemic still being felt by so many people across the country, the support and care food banks give to their communities is more important than ever before.
