Instarmac helps bring Hope to Tamworth families

Instarmac’s Charity Committee are delighted to support Me & Dee – an incredible Tamworth-based charity dedicated to arranging memory making experiences for children and adults facing a short or uncertain future.

Founded in 2006, Me & Dee have a simple mission – to ensure families going through difficult and uncertain times are gifted with memories they can treasure.

Me & Dee are perhaps most well known for Hope the Elephant, a beautifully crafted, cuddly elephant created to keep cherished memories alive. Hope includes hidden zips in her ear to keep notes and comforting thoughts safe and sound and a mini voice recorder so family members can capture their loved one’s voices or laugh.

Instarmac Group plc’s £500 donation will pay for 12 families to have their very own Hope the Elephant to capture cherished memories.

“Instarmac have provided endless support for all at JM Civils. We have had two full day training sessions at Instarmac which were invaluable. Since then we have had onsite support from the team, enabling us to gain experience with the materials- one of our must haves is Mortar Buoy!”
