Instarmac proud to sponsor Nuneaton-based Golfer

Tamworth based manufacturer, Instarmac Group plc, are proud to sponsor a number of local athletes and sports teams and are delighted to announce that Sam Broadhurst, up and coming local golfer, has joined the Instarmac family.

Golf is in the blood for Nuneaton-based Sam Broadhurst. He began his golfing career by caddying for his Dad – 6 time European Tour Winner and Ryder Cup team member, Paul Broadhurst.

In 2015 Sam left the UK and moved to America to complete his degree in Sports Management at Lincoln University. During his time at LMU, Sam played 52 events and racked up 31 top 10 finishes, 16 top 5’s and 4 wins, resulting in his “All-American” status.

Sam turned pro in September 2020 and attended the Europro Qualifying School in October, winning by an impressive 5 shots with scores of 67-67-64(-20).

2022 promises to be a great year for Sam. He’s already off to a winning start after his win at the FPG Tour The Legacy Championship in Florida and the Clutch Pro Tour in Turkey. Sam  will be looking to repeat that success by competing in the EuroPro Tour later this year.

“At Instarmac, we have always taken great delight in giving back to our local community by sponsoring up and coming individuals and teams. With that in mind, I am very proud to announce that Sam Broadhurst is the latest sports star to join Instarmac’s growing family. At just 24 years of age, Sam is already on his way to becoming one of the best golfers in the country. We can’t wait to follow Sam’s journey – everyone at Instarmac is backing him all the way!” Mark Shorrock, Managing Director at Instarmac.

“It means so much to me to have a local company supporting me. Professional golf can seem glamourous but at this early stage of my career it certainly isn’t and to have a company helping to cover my travel expenses gives me the freedom to go out and focus all my efforts on improving my golf game. It also gives me a real boost to know that I have a local company and their employees following my progress and supporting me every step of the way.” Sam Broadhurst.

Supporting local charities and sports clubs is always something Instarmac have prided themselves on. In recent years, along with Sam Broadhurst, Instarmac have also partnered with Chasetown Football Club and Birmingham BMX – a community based sports club with a vision to encourage more people to participate in the Olympic sport of BMX.

Keep up-to-date with Sam’s progress throughout 2022 by following him on Instarmac @broady09.
