Instarmac Group plc has donated £1,000 to support the important work of local charity, Charlie’s Wings

Charlie’s Wings was established in 2022 as a heartfelt tribute to the life of Tamworth’s own Charlie Smith, whose bright light was tragically extinguished far too soon in a devastating accident in December 2021.

Devastated by the loss of their child, Charlie’s parents channelled their grief into establishing Charlie’s Wings – an inspiring charity that supports young people navigating the challenges of modern adolescence. Driven to preserve their son’s legacy, they summoned the fortitude to launch this incredible organisation dedicated to empowering youth.

The team at Charlie’s Angels offers a range of support services to those in need, including guidance, training, and access to various therapies. Their latest initiatives include distributing revision books, organizing one-on-one counselling, and providing a prom dress service.

Inspired by Charlie’s remarkable legacy, Instarmac’s Charity Committee immediately decided to donate £1000 to support the Charlie’s Wings efforts to positively impact the lives of many young people in Tamworth.
