UltraCrete is aiming to help future proof Scotland’s roads

The UltraCrete team will be exhibiting on stand E26 at the upcoming Traffex Scotland on 13th & 14th November 2019 at the SEC in Glasgow.

Traffex Scotland is the country’s only event dedicated to help “future proof” the Scottish road network .The UltraCrete team will be on hand at the event to answer maintenance and repair queries on the topical subject of potholes and to discuss their range of permanent repairs for this ever increasing road and pathway problem.

Visitors to the stand can discover more about UltraCrete’s range of BBA HAPAS and PTS PAS approved products and systems including their mortars M60, M90 and Envirobed® HA104, as well as their hero pothole repair product, Tough Patch®.

Tough Patch® 6mm grade is a rapid curing, permanent cold-lay surfacing material (PCSM) suitable for defect repairs, potholes, trench reinstatement, utility installations, patching in car parks, driveways and other local repairs. Ideally suited for use on bituminous /asphalt and cementitious paving and road substrates. It is also available in 10mm grade for permanent repairs in type 3 & 4 roads and as a temporary / permanent repair in higher category roads.

M60 is a market leading bedding mortar which conforms to HD27/15, and is ideal for use with all access covers, as well as for the bonding of granite setts, flags and bedding kerbs. It can be opened to traffic in 60 minutes in temperatures as low as 5°C – perfect for cold weather working.

M90 is ideal for bedding access covers and general repairs. This general purpose mortar conforms to HD27/15, and a rapid strength gain and can be opened to traffic in 90 minutes.

Envirobed® HA104 has been HAPAS Approved since 2005 and conforms to HA104/09. Its superior compressive, tensile and flexural strengths make it ideal for use in heavily trafficked / wheel track locations. It can be open to traffic after just 1 hour.

Stand visitors can get the full low down on these innovative products, and there will be the opportunity to arrange free UltraCrete product demonstrations and training, either on a customer’s site or at the Instarmac UltraCrete premises, to ensure the best possible installation and effective lifetime of these renowned permanent repair products.
