UltraFloor is an Inspired choice at residential property

Experienced floor contractor Inspired Floors, have used UltraFloor Suppress IT, Prime IT Multi-surface Primer and Level IT Smooth to complete subfloor preparation at a residential property in the south east of England.

Moduleo Flooring is a stylish, design-focused brand known for its luxurious vinyl flooring. Luxury vinyl tiles always look best when laid on a beautifully smooth sub-floor and so, it was crucial that the chosen smoothing underlayment dried with an extremely smooth finish, as any bumps or lumps would be obvious once the vinyl was laid.

Inspired Floors have completed a number of projects using UltraFloor’s subfloor preparation materials and so they knew Level IT Smooth was the perfect smoothing underlayment to install the beautiful Moduleo Flooring.

Pump or trowel applied from 2mm to 30mm, Level IT Smooth has an extremely smooth finish and boasts a superior flow – perfect for larger flooring projects such as this one.

With a coverage rate of approximately 5.5m² at 3mm, Level IT Smooth is suitable for underfloor heating systems, has a working time of 20-30 minutes and can receive foot traffic after just 2-3 hours – allowing you to move on to the next part of the project quickly.

This 90m² residential property also required the use of Prime IT Multi-surface Primer and Suppress IT moisture vapour suppressant.

Prime IT Multi-surface Primer is a moisture tolerant, water based acrylic primer, sealer and bonding aid. Formulated to promote adhesion to all UltraFloor smoothing underlayments, Prime IT Multi-surface Primer reduces pinholing, minimising the risk of costly failures.

Designed to suppress residual construction moisture – allowing the earlier installation of floor coverings – Suppress IT is a ready to use single component rapid drying moisture suppressant primer membrane. Applied in 2 coats, Suppress IT provides up to 95% RH protection, removes the need to prime and is pigmented orange so you can see exactly where you have applied it.

Both Prime IT Multi-surface Primer and Suppress IT are available in resealable 5 litre bottles so you can pop the lid back on and use the rest another day, eliminating wasted product.
