Easiest Way to Remove Epoxy Resin Grout

Struggling to eliminate epoxy resin residues? ProClean is essential to achieve a professional, long-lasting tiled finish.

Failure to remove epoxy grout can pose long-term maintenance problems for both tilers and clients. It is known for its durability and resistance to stains; however, if not properly managed, it can become a breeding ground for mould and mildew, particularly in damp environments.

It’s necessary to ensure that all remnants of epoxy are eliminated, safeguarding the longevity of your work and maintaining customer satisfaction.

ProClean’s Epoxy Resin-Off is a targeted solution for removing resin and polymer residues from tiles and paving. This gel-like formula allows you to treat specific affected areas with minimal mess or waste. It can also remove excess sealers, coatings, adhesives, and plastic residues from all types of external stone surfaces.

Suitable surfaces to use Epoxy Resin-Off:

  • Sandstone
  • Limestone
  • Slate
  • Travertine
  • Terracotta
  • Quarry tile
  • Ceramic
  • Porcelain
  • Highly textured tiles
  • Slip resistant tiles

How to use ProClean Epoxy Resin-Off

Firstly, ensure that any loose debris is cleaned from the tiles. Pre-wet the surface, then generously apply Epoxy Resin-Off neat, and let the product sit for 15-20 minutes maximum.

Agitate the area with a stiff brush, then rinse thoroughly. For external applications, pressure washing can provide faster results after rinsing.

Inspect the surface once dry and repeat the process if any stubborn patches remain. Properly removing epoxy resin residues is crucial for ensuring a professional, long-lasting tiled finish.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not apply Epoxy Resin-Off until you have completed a test patch. Cover areas not to be treated with suitable protective materials. Apply between 5°C and 20°C.
